FOOTBALL PARKING:

Football game days are exciting times at WVU. As with all major sports events, parking is a premium and must be combined with normal parking needs of University faculty, staff and students. Many of the employee lots on the Evansdale and Health Sciences campuses are reserved as donor parking for football ticket holders. However many lots on the Evansdale and Downtown campuses are open on a first come – first serve basis. Additionally, many private businesses open their lots for football patrons. Football parking in donor areas is managed by the WVU Athletic Department.

As an alternative to parking around the football stadium or on the Evansdale campus consider parking Downtown and riding the PRT to the Health Sciences Station. Many football fans park Downtown and walk to the Stadium and call it a “good stretch of the legs!!”

BASKETBALL PARKING

As with football parking, parking at the Coliseum is very limited for basketball events. Students and others that take advantage of free Coliseum parking are prohibited from parking there the day of the game. Most Coliseum parking is for basketball is for donor parking. Some free parking is available on the Evansdale campus and in Krepps Park. Please cross Mon Boulevard at crosswalks only.
