In an effort to streamline processes, effective Jan. 1, 2024, the WVU Parking Management Office will no longer be accepting cash payments for items such as citations or parking permits at its Mountaineer Station office.
The office will continue to accept its preferred payment method of credit/debit card. It will also accept checks.
Cash payments will continue to be accepted for parking payments at short-term parking lots.
Additionally, the Parking Management Office will be closed from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 20. The office will also be closed Dec. 27-29. The office will resume normal hours of operation (Monday through Friday, from 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.) on Tuesday, Jan. 2.
As a reminder, you can pay citations, purchase permits, view parking lot information and more on the Transportation and Parking website.
During the holiday break, the Roads and Grounds team also will be operating with reduced staffing levels. As such, several parking lots on campus may be blocked off during the break. If you are staying on campus through the holidays, please allow extra time for the roads and lots to be cleared in cases of inclement weather.
