Beginning Monday, May 13, drivers should avoid Evansdale Drive as milling and paving projects occur on the roadway.
Crews will begin paving near Towers and continue until Evansdale Drive intersects Monongahela Boulevard (U.S. Highway 19).
Work is expected to be complete on Thursday, May 16, though unforeseen circumstances and unexpected weather may cause delays.
Due to lane and full road closures in various areas of the project, drivers are encouraged to use alternative routes when possible. Those who park in WVU parking lots affected by the paving project may park in a nearby lot while displaying their permit if their lot is inaccessible.
