The WVU Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) system will be closed to passenger service beginning Saturday, March 11, through Sunday, March 19, during the University’s spring break.
Students, faculty and staff should plan to use alternative transportation during spring break. Mountain Line buses are free to ride with a valid WVU ID.
In addition, those who are leaving campus for the break and need a place to store their vehicle while they are away can do so for just $10.
Starting Friday, March 10, students, faculty and staff can park their vehicles in the upper level of the Mountainlair parking garage or at Mountaineer Station. To pay, download the ParkMobile app and enter the appropriate zone number: 52004 for the Mountainlair or 52003 for Mountaineer Station (Area 81). Then, pay $10 through the app. Parking is valid through Sunday, March 19.
If you have any questions about this temporary spring break parking, please contact the Parking Management office at 304-293-5502 (Monday through Friday, from 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.).
